Budapest panorama

Budapest has a really scenic view from the air. The town is splitted by the Danube but still connected with her bridges, and all this surrounded by the green hills. The spectacular buildings can be clearly recognized from this viewpoint too. Even if you lived here for long already, you will see something you didn't know about for sure!
Flying over the city with general aviation aircrafts is restricted significantly. On the Pest side due the traffic of Ferihegy Airport, while on the Buda side due noise abatement and security reasons. But no worries! Things exactly below wouldn't be in our sight anyhow.

We may fly into the city from the South til the Citadel, from the North til the Margaret bridge.

Between these two waypoints we fly over the ridge of the Szabadság hill at 2000', about he height of the panorama tower at the János hill. This altitude provides us great view to the city. You may enjoy the view of all the famous objects, hills, islands.The yellow line on the map below marks the restricted area. We fly around 2x on the west side of the area, hence passangers sitting on both side can have the same chance to see.
