Csaba's Birthday

Csaba got this trip as a birthday present. He picked the longer version of the Danube Bend tour from the menu. The heat was still making us sweat despite of the height:

First we had the view of the City, across the Danube, all painted gold by the sunset:

Then we made an attempt to count all the bridges:

Flew to the castle ofVisegrádig:

Then followed the Bend to Esztergom:

And enjoyed the amazing sunset all the way back:

While this month will remain memorable for the harsh weather, there were still great days up in the air.

The highlight of the month was a trip to the Adriatic, to the Slovenian Seaside. The destiantion was Portoroz, but we also visited the venetian port Piran. The seafood was excellent at our usual place. The seaside boulevard is also a great beach:

After departure the tower granted clearence to fly by the old town:

A low profile attraction of the Budapest suburbs is the Air Defence Museum at Zsámbék. I wouldn't be relaxed flying over this stuff if they were still sharp!

Lake Balaton aweakening. The marina of Balatonföldvár has already many yachts launched after the winter.
